DR. ASI PERETZ grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa and completed his undergraduate training at the Medical University of South Africa, where he was awarded an MBCHB degree.

After graduating, he spent two years at Charlotte Maxeke Academic Hospital (Johanesburg general), where he rotated through various surgical disciplines. During this period he completed his BSS, ACLS, PALS courses. 

 

He  spent a year working with world-renowned vascular surgeons in top tier South African Hospitals, this is where his love for complex microsurgery began.

Always trying to expand his knowledge and skills he began working at the busiest and most robust emergency department in Southern Africa, Paarl Academic Hospital. 

He manned the ER for a year and lead a large team of medical personnel in traumatic, surgical and medical emergencies. He completed his Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), and FEC during this time.

Asi was then offered a position as the Chief Physician at the Walt Disney Company based in Florida. He managed medical operations in locations all over the globe and specialized in hands on medical stabilization and evacuations for staff and guests from remote locations.

Dr. Asi has always had a passion for artistry, he is an avid sketch artist and musician: “When i started losing my own hair in 2015, I was instantly drawn into the science and art of hair restoration surgery”. Asi currently spends most of his time studying and pioneering hair transplantation surgery: “My dream is to be able to treat even the most difficult patient with minimal donor site follicles”.

Asi spent time training with world renowned hair transplant surgeons in Istanbul, Turkey, where he specialized in the latest and most successful techniques.

Dr Asi is a member of the World FUE Institute(WFI), the leading global authority in FUE hair transplantation, and is also an associate member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgeons (ISHRS).

He now runs Trichogenics, a large hair research and transplant clinic in Istanbul, Turkey, where he is one of the few hands on hair transplant surgeons in the country. 

 

Dr. Asi works daily with facial aesthetic techniques and has spent months training with internationally recognized master injectors. He has a deep love for facial harmonization, and has developed his own techniques for Non-surgical Lip enhancement . ​
