Day of Surgery

Schedule

01

Breakfast

Have a hearty breakfast at home or your hotel before surgery to maintain your energy throughout the day.

02

Arrive at The Clinic

Our chauffeur will bring you from your hotel to the clinic. For international patients, we also provide transport from the airport to your hotel and the clinic.

03

Blood Tests

When you arrive, we’ll run blood tests to check for infections. We’ll also take your blood for PRF injections to prepare the scalp and boost graft survival.

04

Hairline Design

We’ll design your new hairline with your feedback. After you approve, only the donor area will be shaved, keeping the rest of your hair untouched.

Surgery Process

Local Anesthesia and Sedation

Before the procedure begins, we will monitor your blood pressure, heart rate, and oxygen levels. To ensure your comfort, a mild sedative tablet will be provided, allowing you to stay calm and relaxed while remaining fully conscious. At TRICHOGENICS, we prioritize your comfort, and while local anesthesia infiltration may cause brief discomfort, we minimize this by utilizing specialized techniques. Once numbed, you can settle in and relax—put on your headphones to enjoy music, a podcast, or your favorite shows. You can even take a peaceful nap during the procedure.

During the Procedure

The length of the surgery depends on the number of grafts, usually ranging between 6–10 hours. You can take breaks whenever needed, and lunch will be provided. We’re fortunate to have three chief surgical physicians on our team, allowing us to perform a larger number of grafts efficiently. However, for safety reasons, we do not recommend or perform more than 5,000 grafts in a single session over 2 days, as the risks increase.

After Surgery

Once the surgery is complete, we will clean and dress the donor area. Our driver will take you back to your hotel, which has been personally selected by our doctors to provide the best post-surgery environment. You will receive detailed care instructions, and our team is available 24/7 to address any questions or concerns you may have during your recovery.

After Surgery

Once we’ve cleaned and dressed the donor area, a chauffeur will take you back to your hotel along with detailed care instructions. The hotel, personally selected by our doctors, ensures a comfortable post-surgery experience. Our team is available 24/7 to address any questions or concerns.

Post-Op: Day 1

After a relaxed morning with breakfast at the hotel, you’ll be picked up and brought to the clinic for a quick, painless post-op evaluation and washing of the surgical area by one of our team members. Afterward, you'll be chauffeured back to your hotel to rest and recover.

Days 2-10: Follow-Up

Your surgeon will personally stay in close contact, requesting daily photos to monitor your progress over the first 10 days post-surgery.

12 Months Post-Surgery

Each month, your surgeon will follow up to ensure your recovery is on track and that your results are developing as planned.
